The landscape of business consultancy
Case studies give your business legitimacy. They're a chance to shine a light on how you work and what you can bring your customers, perhaps with a few kind words from them thrown in.
Below are a selection of case studies from three previous clients. I've chosen these as they're all formatted quite differently but essentially do the same job. You can be creative with how you showcase your product or service.
I always like collaborating with OSMO as they work on such interesting and varied projects. They're a design and strategy studio with a crisp, elegant brand who have helped businesses from a whole host of sectors deliver on their next stage of growth. OSMO tends to work with their clients over months or even years, and therefore wanted case studies which reflected the amount of thought and planning that went into each venture.
Case studies usually begin with the challenge. This is because you want the reader to instantly relate to the client described so they are engaged to read on. You want them to be thinking 'yes, that's what's happening to us', so when you demonstrate how you solved that challenge, it's more impactful and relevant to them.
However, this client was insistent that their target customers were time poor and the key benefits should lead the piece. I created a structure which ensured no one would miss what the business had achieved for its customer, but wove the 'challenge' into each benefit featured.
Yay!Starter wanted to be more punchy as they tend to deliver their service on a shorter timescale than the previous two businesses. They're a marketing agency that learn what their customer wants to achieve and then make it happen. As such, a more traditional 'challenge-solution-results' format worked best for this client.
